We never want cost to be a barrier for interested dancers to be a part of the Rhythm Ensemble. If you'd like to be a member of the Rhythm Ensemble but are hesitant due to financial reasons, please consider applying to our scholarship program. Submissions are due by Thursday, August 17th. Successful applicants will be notified before the season eight auditions. Scholarship acceptance does not guarantee a company position. Dancers must successfully audition for the Rhythm Ensemble in order to redeem their scholarship. Full and partial tution scholarships available. 

 

REQUIREMENTS

1. Write a submission including the following information:

• About you and your tap dance journey

  • Why do you love tap dance?

  • Previous programs you’ve attended and highlights of your tap dance journey

  • Future goals within the dance

• Why you’d like to be a part of the Rhythm Ensemble

  • What does the Rhythm Ensemble have that you’d benefit from?

  • What are your long term goals with the Rhythm Ensemble?

• Why you’d benefit from a full scholarship​

  • Outline financial need

*Submission should be written by the dancer, however dancers applying for the Junior Ensemble may be assisted by a parent/ guardian

2. Include a letter of recommendation from a dance professional/ teacher/ choreographer.
