DROP-IN CLASSES​

Tap Tuesdays are back! The Rhythm Ensemble will be offering open drop-in tap classes this summer under the direction of company director, Juliana Kelly. Classes are open to all students with tap experience (company and non-company members) and no audition is required. Keep up your tap training and technique over the summer months with these challenging and fun classes!

​

Where: JCB Danceworks, 10185 Bathurst Street, Richmond Hill
When: Every Tuesday starting July 11th to August 15th (6 classes)
Price: $20 per class + HST (drop in rate)

5:00-6:00 Junior Tap
6:00-7:00 Intermediate Tap
7:00-8:00 Senior Tap
8:00-9:00 Pre-Professional Tap

FULL SESSION PROMOTION

​

Register for the full 6-week session in advance and receive the classes at $15.00 + HST per class ($90.00 + HST for the full session).

TEACHER’S PROMOTION

Teachers who bring three dancers, dance for FREE!

COMPANY MEMBER PROMOTION

​

All Rhythm Ensemble company members 20% off any class registration.

COMPANY AUDITIONS

​

The Rhythm Ensemble will be holding additional auditions for term 3 (June 2023- August 2023) to fill our remaining company spots. These auditions will be for Junior Ensemble and Apprentice division only. Auditions will take place during the first class of the term on Sunday, June 11th.

2:30pm- 4:00pm
Intermediate level, minimum age 10

APPRENTICE DIVISION AUDITIONS
12:00pm- 2:30pm
Advanced level, minimum age 12

season 8 auditions​

​

The Rhythm Ensemble is holding auditions for all three terms of it's eighth season (September 2023- August 2024). Auditions are scheduled to take place at The Dance Shoppe in Milton, located at 725 Main St E on Thursday, August 24th. Additional auditions will only be held on a term by term basis if all company positions are not filled in this audition so don't miss out!

4:30pm -6:00pm
Intermediate level, minimum age 10

APPRENTICE DIVISION AUDITIONS
6:00pm- 8:00pm
Advanced level, minimum age 12

PRE-PROFESSIONAL DIVISION AUDITIONS
8:00pm- 10:00pm
Pre-Professional level, minimum age 14

Please note that ages are a general guideline and the divisions are split first and foremost by level. If you are unsure which level to register for, please visit our FAQ page or email us for further guidelines. Dancers must pre-register to save their spot in the auditions.

*** Dancers who cannot attend the audition but still wish to be considered for a company position can audition via video submissions, but in-person auditions are preferred and strongly recommended, especially if you have not worked with Juliana or The Rhythm Ensemble before.
